Welcome to the IHDA Data
Alberta Health has designed this site to provide information on health status and determinants of health. The IHDA contains many health indicators derived from various sources, in topics such as demographics, mortality, chronic and infectious disease, and children's health.
The system is comprised of three primary screens, which are as follows:
- The first screen displays the data categories available for selection.
- The second screen provides a drop down list of data sets for the chosen category and displays a list of criteria (geography, age, sex, year, etc.) for filtering the data set information.
- The third screen displays the results in the form of a table. If the data can be mapped or graphed, these options will appear on this page. All data contained in the table may be exported to a user's hard drive or network drive.

The Interactive Health Data Application has been designed to work specifically with Internet Explorer 11.0. Even though it may be possible to use the IHDA with other web browsers and operating systems, we cannot guarantee the functionality of the IHDA outside of the environment it was developed in.
